MISSY COCHRANE

Missy Cochrane – Clay has and always will be a passion of mine.  I have been working in clay for over thirty years and it continues to challenge and inspire me.  Currently I have the good fortune to have access to several woodfire kilns. This firing process brings to my work a vitality that pleases me. During the firing wood ash falls on the pots, and in the extreme heat melts into glassy jewels.  There is a certain element of chance and serendipity.  A dance with the elements brings these pieces to life
